Redline racer pc download
It doesn't even attempt to be a true racing simulation, so it doesn't have as many variables and features as some of the other racers on the market.
You can't customize your bike with different tires or gear ratios for example. But what Redline Racer does offer is an entertaining motorcycle racing game with superb graphics and control. Initially you can choose from 8 different racing teams, 3 tracks, 3 bikes, and, surprisingly, you can also choose to play as either a male or female rider.
However, as you increase in skill you will be able to race up to 10 tracks on one of 8 bikes. There are also 5 secret bonus vehicles you can ride. These range from strange to just plain bizarre. As this isn't the tips and clues section, I'll let you figure out how to access these high-powered puppies.
The cars are real. The cops are real. And the crashes are most definitely real in Street Legal Racing: Redline. If you damage your car you are able to see the damage either on the body or under the hood while your in the garage. It's completely up to you to fix these parts before your next race. With a triple-section status bar green means your car is fine, yellow means you should head to the garage and red means your car is about to die you can easily tell when your car is about to break down.
You have plenty of gameplay options in Street Legal Racing: Redline. You can roam the streets free, drift, drag race or outrun the authorities. The central character joins the Company because he wants to succeed and make the right choice for himself. In the walkthrough, the player can drive combat vehicles with original features and armaments. You can get out of the car at any time, and then change the view between first and third person.
The protagonist uses a versatile cannon that transforms to fire several types of ammunition. Redline: Gang Warfare multiplayer mode features up to 16 players entering closed arenas, where they will fight in teams or for themselves, trying to stay last alive.
The gangs get stronger as they progress, and the gamer will encounter Templars, a team of Red Sixes and lepers, maniacs, and solo assassins. Which is nice. If it wasn't for the recent explosion in 3D graphics cards, Red Line Racer would surely never have seen the light of day. Compared to any ancient bike racing game you care to remember, it doesn't offer anything particularly new apart from fast and flashy graphics.
It doesn't pretend to be a simulation, but rather a fast and furious racer aimed squarely at those bored with the mound of four-wheeled titles adorning high street shelves. The aim, as per usual, is to race around the various tracks in the fastest possible time. Beating your opponents gains access to 'secret' tracks, and with a little bit of jiggery-pokery ie cheat codes you can change your bike into any number of bizarre high-speed steeds, ranging from a scooter to the sub from Sub Culture.
The best part of the game is the way in which riders are thrown from their bikes after speeding into hedges, but don't expect any realistic twisting of bone or patches of blood appearing on the tarmac; what you get is cheesy but satisfying screams and flailing bodies rather like - but not as good as - Motocross Madness.
The lack of any championship modes certainly makes the game seem a bit light, but if that's what takes your fancy Red Line Racer is as light as they come. Browse games Game Portals. Redline Racer.
