I want to send files on other pc connected through internet.. How it would be possible? I want to delete FTP files older than 3 months. How we can achieve this using C code. Read buffer, 0, buffer. Length to the variable len and then comparing that len is bigger than 0. Instead it is comparing that len is bigger than 0 but len is gonna be 0, so the condition is never true. That way it will actually write something in the file output stream while the input stream reads the next block of bytes.
I'm making a service which will download it whenever a new one posts, and I've been timing my routine to try to see if I can tweak it to make it faster. I am also debating making it run on a different thread although that is probably not related to the question. Is there a faster way to download a file that is Half a GIG from an ftp server to a local computer than the way I'm doing it?
Our internet connection is actually much faster, and should be able to do as much as maybe a meg and a half at a time. That's the speed I often get using Core FTP And it must be some way that I can run it syncronously so I can track it's progress, altho I can probably just stick it on a different thread if it is indeed asyncronous.
Can it be a mistake on the following two rows somewhere? Write bytes, 0, resultingTxt. Length ;. Would it help to add some number to one of those to increase the amount of data that is being uploaded? Can I just add number 1 or 2 to bytes to write or what can I do?
Use bytes. Length instead of text. UTF8 characters are variable in byte length so the end of the file will sometimes clip off if there are characters that are more than one byte.
C Helper. Skip to content. Write bytes, 0, text.
